“ That thing I do ”
My style is realistic with periodic attempts to move into more abstract interpretations of images. Oils, acrylics, watercolour, pencil crayon and pastel are favourites – I let the image decide what medium needs to be used for the painting. Studying art is almost as fun as painting, and I worked towards college diplomas, certificates and have taken workshops across Canada. I worked with wonderful artists in Northern BC in the 70’s, more formal studies in the 80’s in Ontario, and have been extracting information from many artists in Alberta for the last 2 decades. What fun!
The Studio Gallery in St Albert, Alberta is an artist run centre. I work with 13 other artists, and love the community of art and ideas in a cooperative.
